Hello and happy Friday -
We've seen a few things change at Disney World recently and wanted to make sure you knew about them.
No, this list doesn't include Virtual Queues which did just change, but we already emailed about that on Wednesday. If you missed it, here's some info about riding Tiana's and Cosmic Rewind now that VQs are going away as of February 25.
1. Two hour grace period on Lightning Lanes
For years, the grace period to tap in to a Lightning Lane was 15 minutes, but that's changed to 2 hours which makes it much easier.

2. DDP icons now being used for alcohol (but they're not snack credits)
People visiting Disney World and using the Disney Dining Plan have always been able to find ways to use their snack credits by looking for the DDP icon on the menus.
But now Disney has confused things a bit by also using the DDP icon next to alcohol that's eligible to be ordered as part of a Quick Service meal.
That doesn't mean you can use a snack credit to buy the drink, but it's just a way to narrow down which drinks can be ordered with a Quick Service credit.

3. Skyliner maintenance schedule changes
After years of having a January shutdown of the Skyliner for maintenance, Disney changed the way it's working this year.
Instead of being down for days, they've been making updates throughout the day.
Often these updates are overnight, but occasionally the work hasn't been complete which delays the Skyliner opening in the morning.
Sometimes the updates have also been taking place mid-day.
We wish they'd alert guests of the Skyliner downtime via the app, but they don't. You just have to show and see if it's running or not. When the Skyliner is down, Disney World will provide alternate transportation to use.
➡️ Here's how the Skyliner works
I think that's it for now.
Have a fantastic weekend,
Shannon
P.S. If you're traveling to Disney World in March, we just posted important dates to know that might come in handy for your planning.
