Can we chat Disney cruising?

WDW Prep School

Hello there -

Hope you're staying warm wherever you are. This cold weather gets people thinking a lot about traveling to warmer places, including Disney World and Caribbean cruises.

I used to call myself "not a cruise person" but as I hit platinum status on Disney Cruise Line this year, I think it's time to accept that I'm at least a Disney cruise person.

I truly think that cruises are 1 of the things Disney does best, and it's become a fave way to travel the last few years.

After trying lots of things, these have become a few of my faves on Disney cruises:

  • Verandah room, starboard side - for best views of Castaway Cay
  • Palo dinner - brunch is way too much food for me, but dinner is a la carte and so much more manageable. The food quality and service are well worth the up charge.
  • Family cabana on Lighthouse Point - even with an adults-only group, I'd book a family cabana due to the privacy and seclusion of the location

➡️ If you're considering a Disney cruise, I've put together a DCL primer for Disney World people to get you started - https://wdwprepschool.com/disney-cruise-line/

And when you're ready to book, we partner with Small World Vacations, who not only are experts at booking Disney cruises but they also offer onboard credit when you book through them.
