Holiday news + new promo coming

WDW Prep School

Hello there -

Disney decided to finally give us some info on the much-anticipated holiday events for this year as well as drop a new promo for people traveling between July and Christmas.

First, let's chat holidays.

  • Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place at Magic Kingdom a few nights of the week from November 8-December 20. Tickets will be $169-219 depending on the date, with $10 AP and DVC discounts available on some dates. Tickets go on sale July 2 for onsite guests (includes Swan, Dolphin, and Shades of Green) and July 10 for all guests. Learn more about MVMCP.
  • Jollywood Nights is back at Hollywood Studios. Parties will take place on select nights from November 9-December 21. Tickets are $159-179 ($10 discount available at all parties for AP and DVC) and go on sale July 2 for onsite guests (includes Swan, Dolphin, and Shades of Green) and July 10 for all guests. Here's what to expect at Jollywood Nights.
  • Epcot Festival of the Holidays returns November 29-December 30, including Candlelight Processional, holiday kitchens, and the holiday version of Living with the Land. More info (including Candlelight Processional narrators) to come at a later date. Our guide to Festival of the Holidays.
  • Merry Menagerie puppets will return to Animal Kingdom. One of our fave things to see during the holidays will be returning to Animal Kingdom this year, along with holiday park decor, and the ability to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in their festive attire.
  • In addition to all of the above, you'll also be able to find the Christmas Tree Stroll returning to Disney Springs, snowfall taking place in the Town Center section of Disney Springs, and the ability to meet Santa in all 4 parks AND at Blizzard Beach, where he’ll be meeting in his tropical beachwear.

Outside of the holiday news, we also have a new promo for travel dates through the end of the year.

Here are the details:

  • Travel dates: most travel dates July 8-December 25, 2024
  • Promo: save up to 30% on your Disney World resort, with Deluxe resorts and stays of 5+ nights saving the most. Also available: guests can get free Park Hopper option added to their tickets when they upgrade to a Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a non-discounted 4-day or longer date-based ticket.
  • When to book: starting this Thursday, June 27

QUICK TIP OF THE DAY

Since there are two stroller-rental locations at Epcot (the other parks just have 1), you could visit one of them mid-day after your child gets tired of walking. One of the stroller rental locations is near the front of the park, and the other is located in the World Showcase at the International Gateway near the U.K. pavilion.

Want to submit your own quick tip? Hit reply and we may feature it in a future email.

As always, let us know if you have any questions as you plan.
