Hello there -
We meet again on a Friday to chat about something I hope will help with your Disney World trip planning.
Today I wanted to chat about what we think are the BEST character meals at Disney World.
With so many choices and a high price tag, we know how hard it can be to narrow it down.
Here are our 5 current favorite character meals.
1. Topolino's (breakfast)
This 1 is popular for a reason.
Things we love here:
- Delicious food that's not a buffet
- Classic characters in artsy duds
- Located at Riviera Resort so no park ticket needed (perfect for an arrival, departure, or any non-park day)
2. Garden Grill (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
This has long been a favorite of ours.
Here's why:
- Family-style food that's delicious no matter what time of day you eat there
- Classic characters with frequent, fun interactions
- Restaurant rotates one full rotation during your meal with a fun change of scenery
- Lunch and dinner are great uses of a Disney Dining Plan credit
3. Hollywood & Vine (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
If you had told me a few years ago that this would be on the list, I would've thought you had hit your head.
But it's true - this place should get an award for most improved.
Things to love:
- Disney Jr. characters at breakfast, classic characters dressed in seasonal outfits for lunch and dinner
- Great food, especially for a buffet
- Lunch and dinner are 1 of the best values of a Disney Dining Plan credit
4. 1900 Park Fare
This spot at the Grand Floridian has changed over the years but still retained what most of us love about it, including:
- An eclectic mix of characters with some of our favorite interactions (Tiana, Mirabel, Cinderella, and Prince Ali)
- Delicious food, including the strawberry soup they're known for
- Located at a resort - easy to do on a non-park day or a quick commute on a Magic Kingdom day
5. Cinderella's Royal Table
If you want to see princesses, this is our current top pick.
Here's why:
- Hard to beat the castle setting
- Food is good and not a buffet
- A PhotoPass pic with Cinderella is included
So that's the top 5, but there are lots more.
